Forensic DocExam Ireland is run by Michael Moore BSc(Hons), MCSFS, CSFS Dip. He has over 25 years experience as a Forensic Document Examiner and Handwriting Expert.

Michael is one of the most experienced Document Examiners in Ireland having worked on thousands of cases for over 20 years. He retired as head of the Garda Siochana’s Document & Handwriting Examination Section in 2016.

Michael has been a member of the following EU Working Groups:

• EDEWG – European Document Experts Working Group, member since 1995 and a Steering Committee member from 2006 to 2012.
• ENFHEX – European Network of Forensic Handwriting Experts, active member of this working group since 1996.
• Europol’s Forgery of Money WG, from 1998 to 2012.
